The Raptor Sharkfin enables dual battery use on the RED V-Raptor or Komodo-X by attaching to the camera’s native V-mount. It supports two G-mount or V-mount packs—full-size, mini, or micro—and features a premium all-aluminum construction that blends seamlessly with the camera body. The right-side battery plate slides and locks into position to avoid blocking the camera’s rear I/O, accommodating any battery size. A built-in magnetic storage slot keeps the included Allen key handy for quick on-the-go adjustments.
Designed for continuous, hot-swappable power, the Sharkfin offers two discharge modes: simultaneous or sequential. Flip the onboard switch to “II” to draw evenly from both packs, or “I+I” to discharge one battery before switching to the other. Power never drops during swaps, ensuring uninterrupted shooting. All mode selections must be made before powering on the camera, as the switch locks once active.
